Work In Progress! This was a good size patio. Posted by Picasa
Slate

These are 12x12 Slate Tile blocks that Jube and I installed on a large outside patio. We installed right over the existing concrete slab after first sealing up the large tributaries running thrutout. Posted by Picasa

I also added solid Oak reducer for the trim work. This was a challenge to manage all the heights differentials descrepancies, while not scratching up her beautiful hardwood floors. Posted by Picasa

Man... that fireplace is clean! :-) Posted by Picasa

The AFTER shot!! Looking good and matching the other new installations thruout the house. Posted by Picasa

This was a special project for Teresa. She had some dated tiles in front of her fireplace that she wanted swapped out and dressed up. Posted by Picasa

Another view showing the branch around hallway corners. We actually built little walkway planks for the residents so they could access rooms at night while the thinset was drying. Even in the sleepy state of the mornings... no one ever fell off the planks. :-) Posted by Picasa

Up close and personal with the tile, reducer and moulding work. Straight as an arrow... 'cause I used my 'good eye'. :-). An eye like an Eagle.... a dead one! :-) Posted by Picasa

This was separate pad of blocks we did near the front door. Posted by Picasa
Ceramic

These are 4x4 inch Ceramic blocks. This configuration was done in a narrow hallway that branched out into (6) different rooms. A little tricky for sure, but with help from Jubentino, it all came out beautifully. Posted by Picasa

The new vinyl blocks are going in - working from the center of the room outward. But before that, we put down a complete new floor of 4x8 sheets of backerboard down, then patched every nail head - the Customer (Mr. Pucinelli) wanted a perfectly smooth floor. Posted by Picasa

Hard to see the final pattern - but it was beautiful when finished. Posted by Picasa

Here is the original, very dated full sheet of linolium tile in a 12'x20' kitchen. There were 3 doorways, cabinets, and frig to work around. Posted by Picasa
